【Serviced】Olympus Trip 35

Regarding the Olympus Trip 35:

* This is a 35mm compact film camera released in 1968.
* It has a D.Zuiko 40mm/f2.8 lens. I really liked the 40mm focal length, which is just right, and the lens produces great images.
* Exposure is basically automatic, so no difficult operations are required, and it's easy to use once you get used to it.
* Focusing is zone focusing, with choices of 1m, 1.5m, 3m, and infinity, selected by estimation. This camera isn't good at precise focusing, so it might be best to use it with a high-sensitivity film like ISO 400 and use a pan-focus technique.
* ISO sensitivity is supported in 1/3-stop increments from 25 to 400.

Remarks:

* There is some slight haze and dust inside the lens, but I have judged that it will not affect the photos. There is no mold.
* There is a lot of dust inside the viewfinder, but it does not affect the photos. Also, no mold is visible.
* The exterior has small scratches, paint peeling, and some minor corrosion, but I think it's in good condition considering its age.
* The leatherette has been replaced from the original with a golden yellow cowhide. Personally, I really like this color.
* It was serviced about a year ago, including a mechanism overhaul, lens cleaning, focus adjustment, aperture/shutter cleaning, exposure adjustment, and internal matte black painting, so all operations should be fine. I've included two sample photos.

* I liked this camera, but I haven't used it much since I bought another one, so it's a shame, but I'm selling it.
